Italimballi was founded in the 1970s as a small family-run business in the Varese area, engaged in the production of wooden crates and cages.

In the following decades, Italimballi expanded, leveraging its experience in the sector, and alongside wooden packaging production, it added pallet manufacturing, eventually making it the primary focus of its business activities.

Today, Italimballi is capable of meeting every customer need, specializing in and structured for the production of both customized and standard pallets, including the EPAL pallet for which it is an approved manufacturer.

The company boasts 6 production lines, 7 industrial robots, 1 department dedicated to the production of non-standard pallets, 5 cells for HT heat treatment according to ISPM-15 standards, and drying facilities, all within an area of 25,000 square meters, with over 10,000 square meters covered.

Our company

Our strengths

ITALIMBALLI is always attentive to the needs of its customers.

Raw materials

Italimballi relies on Italian and European suppliers to ensure quality raw materials, supply continuity, and price stability.

The sawn timber and blocks from major suppliers are PEFC certified.

Over 90% of the productions use pressed wood blocks. This type of block, made from processing residues or recycled wood, offers several advantages and enhances pallet quality: high resistance to nail extraction without forming cracks, low moisture content, and standardized dimensions.

Production

Italimballi manages all processes internally: from cutting boards to size, nailing, pallet treatment, all the way to customer delivery.

Internal management allows for total control over each phase of production and significant reduction in supply times.

Italimballi's production takes place on 6 nailing lines, each dedicated to different types of pallets or production batches.

Certifications

These certifications ensure that Italimballi's products adhere to environmental standards and demonstrate the company's commitment to sustainable production practices for a greener future.
